Align

Align is a series of textile tapestries, crafted from special material. After producing clothing labels, a factory is left with strips of fine cloth – the end pieces of the finely woven labels. These strips would normally be thrown out, but for Align this material is collected to create wall hangings. Each strip is sewn on to the other to make an increasingly large tapestry. The interaction of the horizontal and vertical rows creates a unique visual texture.
